How to add a watermark to a PDF

Upload your PDF, type the text you want to repeat (for example "DRAFT" or "CONFIDENTIAL"), adjust the opacity and size to your liking, and click "Apply and download". The text is placed diagonally, centered, on every page of the document. Everything happens in your browser: the file is never uploaded to any server.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to any server?

No. The whole process happens in your own browser, so your files never leave your device: they're not uploaded, not stored, and nobody sees them.

Is it free? Are there any limits?

Yes, it's free, with no watermarks and no sign-up. The free plan supports files up to 10 MB (and up to 5 at a time in the tools that combine several PDFs); MásPDF Pro removes those limits.

Do I need to install anything or create an account?

No. It works right in your browser, on desktop or mobile. You can also install it as an app and use it offline.

Can I use my own watermark text?

Yes. Type whatever text you like and it's repeated diagonally across every page.
