2. Purpose
MásPDF is a set of free tools for working with PDF files (merge, split, compress, convert, sign, edit, rotate, delete pages, add a watermark, recognize text and password-protect) that run entirely in the user's browser, without uploading the files to any server. Additionally, an optional paid version ("MásPDF Pro"), described in section 4, is offered.
3. Terms of use of the free service
Access to and use of MásPDF's free tools does not require registration or the provision of personal data. The user agrees to make appropriate use of the service and not to use it for unlawful purposes. MásPDF neither stores nor has access to the files the user processes, since all processing happens locally on the user's own device.
4. Sale conditions for MásPDF Pro
MásPDF Pro is a one-time-payment usage license that removes the file size and quantity limits of the free plan. Its conditions are:
- Price: €19.99, taxes included according to the buyer's country.
- One-time payment: it is not a subscription; it grants indefinite access, with no expiry, to the Pro features.
- Nature of the product: this is a license to use digital content, not a transfer of ownership of the software.
- Payment processing: the sale is handled by Lemon Squeezy Inc., which acts as the Merchant of Record for the transaction. Lemon Squeezy invoices the sale, manages the applicable taxes and processes the payment; MásPDF neither stores nor has access to the buyer's card or bank account details.
- Activation: after completing the purchase, the buyer receives a license key (by email and on the confirmation screen) which must be entered on the website to activate MásPDF Pro in their browser.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article 103.m) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of MásPDF Pro, since it concerns digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, whose execution begins immediately after payment, with the buyer's prior express consent and their acknowledgement that, as a result, they lose their right of withdrawal once execution has begun.
This consent and acknowledgement must be obtained expressly before completing the purchase, within the payment process itself.
6. Affiliate links
Some MásPDF pages include links to Amazon products through the Amazon EU Associates Programme. If you go to Amazon through one of these links and make a purchase, MásPDF may receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you. These blocks are marked as advertising and include the disclosure required by the programme: "As an Amazon Associate, MásPDF earns from qualifying purchases."
7. Intellectual and industrial property
The code, design and content of MásPDF are the property of Miguel Martínez or are used with due authorization. Their total or partial reproduction without express authorization is prohibited.
8. Liability
MásPDF is not liable for any damage or loss arising from improper use of the service, from technical failures beyond its control, or from the result of the conversions or modifications carried out on the user's files. We always recommend keeping a copy of the original file before processing it.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from the use of this site, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals that apply under the law, without prejudice to the rights afforded to the consumer under the consumer protection regulations of their country of residence within the European Union.
