Cookie policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. What are cookies?
They are small files or pieces of data that a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. On this page we also include local storage (localStorage), which serves a similar purpose and is governed by the same consent rules.
2. What MásPDF stores in your browser
| Name | Purpose | Does it need your permission? |
|---|---|---|
| mp_consentimiento_cookies | Remembers your decision about this very notice, so it doesn't repeat on every page. | No, it is necessary |
| mp_licencia_pro | Remembers that you activated MásPDF Pro in this browser, so you aren't asked for the key on every visit. | No, it is necessary |
| mp_id_dispositivo | A random identifier for this browser. Used only to enforce the device limit of your Pro license. | No, it is necessary |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics cookies: they help us measure how many visits the site receives and how it is used. They last up to 2 years. | Yes, only if you accept "Analytics" |
The website's fonts are hosted on MásPDF's own server, so displaying them does not create any connection to Google or any other third party.
3. Analytics category: Google Analytics
If you accept the Analytics category in the cookie notice, Google Analytics is enabled, which we use to know how many visits the site receives and how it is used. To do this, Google Analytics stores the _ga and _ga_* cookies in your browser (see the table above) and your IP address is sent to Google's servers. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. If you reject this category (or do not expressly accept it), these cookies are not installed and no data about your visit is collected for this purpose. To load and manage these analytics tags we use Google Tag Manager, which is only enabled if you accept the «Analytics» category.
4. Advertising category, ready and currently unused
The cookie notice also includes an Advertising category. As of today we do not use any advertising service, so accepting or rejecting it has no practical effect for the time being. We leave it ready in case it is enabled in the future, and this page will be updated if that happens.
5. How can I change my decision?
You can change it whenever you like from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any tool. You can also delete the stored data from your browser's settings:
- Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies
- Firefox: about:preferences#privacy
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
Keep in mind that deleting this data will also delete the record of your Pro license in that browser — you would have to enter your license key again.
